Your role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Accurate management of paperwork and delivery requirements.
- Drive and maneuver tractor-trailer vehicles safely to various destinations, including customer premises.
- Maintain a driver log, following DOT guidelines to document deliveries, product conditions, and exceptions.
- Unload cargo and deliver products to customer locations efficiently.
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications we look for in our CDL-A Team Members:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
- Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently for job tasks, including safety protocols and instructions.
