Your Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and prepare patients for their visits by collecting vital signs and health information.
  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within your scope of practice.
  • Administer medications and vaccines according to provider orders.
  • Perform routine tests such as vision and hearing screenings, and assist with lab specimens.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Manage prescription refill requests and medication reconciliations.
  • Provide clear patient education and support as directed by the provider.
  • Participate in team huddles, trainings, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Occasionally travel to support other clinic sites as required.
  • Gain valuable experience by cross-training in family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, psychiatry, and specialty services.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical setting.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency is a plus.

Salary: $21.00 to $29.70 an hour, DOE
