Quality Control Inspectors in Milpitas, CA.
General Purpose: Inspects electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, components and parts for conformance to specifications.
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will: - Performs visual inspection of electronic card and sub-assemblies, and systems or units to ensure that all product meets the established specifications for reliability and workmanship.
- Utilizes gages, templates, microscopes and other manufacturing aids to ensure that all product meets the established specifications for reliability and workmanship.
- Ensures that all required process operations have been performed on the product that is being inspected.
- Enters all quality data into the appropriate electronic or manual systems.
- Notifies the appropriate personnel if unusual product defects are identified or if process yields fall below acceptable levels.
- Provides timely feedback to manufacturing if non-conforming product is identified.
- Accurately completes all administrative activities associated with quality inspection.
- Performs process audits and assists manufacturing with the interpretation of the quality and workmanship standards.
- Assists with the disposition of all non-conforming materials/product.
This is a full-time opportunity.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
1st shift - 6am to 2:30pm
2nd shift - 2:30pm to 11pm
The ideal candidate will have: - Completion of a high school degree or equivalent is preferred. Successful completion of company provided training may be required
- Demonstrates functional skills. Demonstrates basic functional process knowledge and participates in process.
- Use of the following tools may be required: Electronic Assembly: color code, component, schematics, touch-up, commercial soldering, mechanical assembly, surface mount assembly, point to point wiring; Inspection: bare board, loaded, components, cable/harness, microscope, measuring tools; Mechanical & Electrical Tools: measuring tools;
- Office Skills: data entry, spreadsheet, manufacturing systems software
Pay Rate: $24.00 USD an hour.
2nd Shift earns 10% shift premium
