A leading global provider of innovative livestock genetics and solutions is looking for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager. This position is pivotal in driving growth and leading a high-performing sales team to maximize our market impact. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and nurture a regional team of 4-5 sales and field specialists.
  • Drive revenue growth and enhance market share in designated territories.
  • Foster strong relationships with key producers and strategic accounts.
  • Identify priority customer segments and explore new business opportunities.
  • Implement regional sales and marketing strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on forecasts, budgets, and annual targets.
  • Monitor performance metrics and execute corrective actions as necessary.
  • Enhance regional brand presence and strengthen customer engagement.
  • Participate in national sales meetings and leadership planning sessions.
  • Support complex deals and major account development.

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of successful experience in a quota-driven sales environment.
  • Preferred experience in sales leadership or team management.
  • A background in agriculture, animal genetics, animal feed, animal health, dairy, or related sectors is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, particularly in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to motivate and influence a distributed field team.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, adaptable across various audience levels.
  • A strategic thinker with solid territory planning abilities.
  • Ability to balance leadership roles with direct selling responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the region.
